OUR STORY
Where It All Began
The story of DOTS GEAR began in 2005, with a manufacturing facility dedicated to knives and tools. Starting from the production floor, we gradually developed a deep understanding of the relationship between materials, craftsmanship, and structure. This hands-on experience formed the foundation of DOTS GEAR and shaped our uncompromising attitude toward quality and attention to detail.
As our experience grew, we moved beyond manufacturing alone and stepped into the core of product design and development. We established an operational and manufacturing network across Taiwan and China—integrating design and management in Taiwan while strengthening manufacturing and sourcing capabilities in China. This structure allows every idea to be precisely realized and consistently delivered to markets around the world, achieving an ideal balance between quality and efficiency.
Over the years, the technical expertise accumulated by our engineers and design teams led us to reconsider the true role of products in everyday life. We believe that good design does more than meet functional needs—it elevates the quality of living. Guided by this philosophy, DOTS GEAR launched its own brand, DiaFire, while also collaborating with U.S. partners Human Science and V Knives to introduce diverse design perspectives and products to the Asian market, opening new possibilities through cross-cultural collaboration.
